De Gruyter is about to launch a new book series edited by Karin Priem (C²DH), Tim Allender (University of Sydney), Inés Dussel (Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute, Cinvestav, Mexico City) and Ian Grosvenor (University of Birmingham). The aim of the book series is to initiate and encourage debates and scholarly exchanges on images and films as complex material and social objects in the humanities and social sciences.

The C²DH’s digital exhibition about the Great War in Luxembourg was officially launched on 19 April 2018 at a press conference attended by Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and the Rector of the University of Luxembourg, Stéphane Pallage.

The virtual exhibition developed by the C²DH retraces key aspects of the history and memory of the First World War in Luxembourg.

L’exposition “Échos luxembourgeois de Mai 68” organisée à l’Abbaye de Neumünster (cloître Lucien Wercollier) et en partenariat avec le C²DH, le Tageblatt et la Photothèque de la Ville de Luxembourg, se tiendra du vendredi 27 avril au dimanche 27 mai 2018.

Résultat d’un partenariat entre le Centre de Documentation sur les Migrations Humaines (CDMH) et le Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH), cette exposition se propose de scruter la dimension migratoire de Dudelange au cours de la Première Guerre mondiale en s’intéressant aux trajectoires de celles ou ceux qui quittent la cité tout comme de celles ou ceux qui y arrivent ou restent.

Photographie et communication d’entreprise à l’ère de l’industrialisation ARDEB 1911-1937 », le DKollektiv a développé, en collaboration avec des élèves du Lycée Technique Privé Emile Metz, le projet Espace sans échelle, autour des plaques de verre conservées dans l'ancien Institut, qui retracent les heures de gloires de l’industrie sidérurgique du Luxembourg.
