The C²DH annual report showcases a selection of projects that highlight the innovative use of digital technology in historical research and the centre's dedication to public engagement.

This year, we chose to highlight the following initiatives that have had a significant impact on both researchers and the broader public:

  • Gazengel: Uncovering the hidden life of a PhD student through a comic strip.
  • History@Play: Exploring the affordances of interactive narratives and digital games in history.
  • The traces of Robert Schuman: Bringing to life the legacy of Robert Schuman through transmedia storytelling.
  • Warlux: Investigating the impact and legacy of war experiences in Luxembourg.
  • Witnessing the Now: Emergency Archiving and Oral History following the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.
  • Schueberfouer in the long 60s: Writing a national and transregional history of the Schuberfouer.
  • Tropy: Designing and producing an open-source software that allows you to organize and describe photographs of research material.
