Lena is a User Experience Designer who has a strong passion to connect people, collaborate around the world no matter, which culture, language and location across all topics and industries. She is now part of the C²DH supporting the project AAA (Augmented Artwork Analysis) with her broad knowledge of design, computer science and arts.
Lena holds a bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design from the University of Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. She also completed several semesters studying “Visual and Media Anthropology” at the HMKW Berlin University of Applied Sciences and “Business Development” at the University of Aalen, Germany.
In her previous work she worked at SAP SE, one of the largest vendors of ERP and other enterprise applications, where Lena enabled teams to transform data into insights to deliver innovative experiences for everyone.
Her creative career began 2008 as a Scenic Artist at the television channel “Das Erste“ (Channel One - the Association of Public Broadcasting Stations of the Federal Republic of Germany), which reaches nearly all 38 million-television households in Germany.
Lena is a member of the Deutscher Designtag (DT) Initiative on gender equity, as well as a member of the Advisory Board of the Illustratoren Organisation. In addition, Lena supports the product innovation coordination team of the NGO “Impact Week”.
