Almuth Axtner

Almuth is a doctoral researcher working on the history of the University of Luxembourg.

Almuth Axtner is a PhD student at the Luxembourg Center for Contemporary and Digital History/ C²DH. Her topic of research is the history of the University of Luxembourg. She is under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Fickers.

From 2022 to 2024 she was a research assistant for the Chair of Contemporary European History at Saarland University. Additionally, she worked as the assistant to the worker’s council at the Fraunhofer Institute for Non-destructive Testing in Saarbrücken from 2019-2024.

Almuth Axtner holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in history, both of which she obtained at Saarland University Saarbrücken.
