Escher Kaffi: taking the pulse of the city

Escher Kaffi is an experimental public history project funded by the C²DH’s Thinkering Grant to study how the cafés in Esch-sur-Alzette can provide insights in the transformations, old and new, of sociality in a (post)industrial city. The outcomes of the project are the creation of a physical and digital map that highlights the socio-historical dimensions of the city’s café landscape.
