Philippe Henri Blasen is a historian and historian of religions, specialised in migrations from and to Luxembourg, the history of ethnic and religious minorities in Romania and Austria-Hungary, as well as the history of political antisemitism in Romania. He has been a long-time volunteer researcher with the Centre de Documentation sur les Migrations humaines, Dudelange. One of his latest books is Ein Konsulat für die Tiroler Untertanen. Die österreichische Gemeinschaft in Esch/Alzette und die konsularische Vertretung Österreich-Ungarns in Luxemburg (1880-1919) [A Consulate for the Tyrolese Subjects.
