Alina is a Postdoctoral researcher working on the history of CD-ROM.
Alina Volynskaya studied philosophy, literature and cultural studies in Moscow and Digital Humanities in Lausanne. She received her PhD in the history of science and technology from EPFL (Lausanne). Supported by the Swiss National Foundation, her PhD dissertation questioned the digital archives of science as an agency of memory and knowledge production. She joins the C²DH as a postdoctoral researcher in the project on the history of CD-ROM.
