Histoire numérique et l’historiographie

On 18 December 2020, the second workshop of the DEMA project - Doing Experimental Media Archaeology: Practice & Theory - project took place at the C²DH. For this workshop, participants from various fields, including media history, art history, musicology, history of science, sensorial ethnography, contemporary composition and sound art were invited to share experiences on how to perform historical re-enactments and how experimental research can serve or operate in artistic practice.

EU DataViz is an international conference on open data and data visualisation organised by the Publications Office of the European Union, in partnership with the C²DH.

The C²DH is a partner of the EU DataViz, an international conference on open data and data visualisation addressing the needs of the public sector across the EU.

The paper presents a method for corpus-based informational analysis, using an open source platform for lexicometric processing and a spreadsheet application.

Tensions of Europe Digital Workshop Festival. 30 June 2021, Online meeting via WEBEX, 10.00-18.00 CET

On 10 and 11 December 2020, the C²DH has hosted an online workshop. This event was organised as part of the research project “Remixing Industrial Pasts in the Digital Age: Sounds, Images, Ecologies, Practices and Materialities in Space and Time”. This workshop brought together academics from different countries to analyse the evolution of industrial cities during the 20th century.
