Caroline is a visiting researcher

Current position

Caroline Muller is an historian. Her thesis, prepared at the University of Lyon II, focused on the history of women and gender and the history of Catholicism in 19th-century France. In parallel, she has been working on the practice of history in the digital age with Frédéric Clavert, as co-leader of the project "The Allure of the Archive in the digital age- Historian cultures in the digital age". In particular, she examines new archive practices in the digital age, both among professional historians and the general public.

Teaching

She currently researches and teaches at the University Rennes, where she continues her work in both specialties.

Educational background

Caroline studied in Strasbourg and then Lyon.
