Current position
Alex Relicovschi is a PhD Candidate in Contemporary History at the University of Luxembourg, part of the Contemporary History of Luxembourg research group at the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History.
Research
Focusing on a large corpus of digitized archives, his research aims to reconstruct the patterns of mobility within and beyond the city of Dudelange, between the end of the 19th to 20th centuries, while tracing the nature of administrative practices through digital source criticism. Alex works under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Machteld Venken as part of the Local sources project. His research interests include historiography and the history of mobility and migrations.
Educational background
Alex Relicovschi obtained a Bachelor in History and Political Science at the Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a Master’s degree in Early Modern History at the same university.
